EXCELLENT RESULTS FROM THE NATIONAL HORSE TRIALS CHAMPIONSHIPS AT ASTON-LE-WALLS... Karen Franklin was the highest placed rider over 50 from the Novice Horse Trials Championships and won a beautiful exercise sheet and sash for 'Indi. The team consisting of Jo Bryant, Michelle Sanders, Karen Franklin and Helen Lentern came an excellent 4th out of 27 teams and had to work very hard to finish on their dressage scores.
The team also gained the following individual placings in their arenas-
Karen - 4th
Michelle - 6th
Helen - 9th

British Riding Club Summer Dressage Qualifier.

Rhian Robert, Liz Frazer-Hitch and Judy did the club proud at the qualifiers.
Liz and Spirit were 5th in the Novice 34 and second in the dressage to music!
Rhian and Spice came 5th in the Novice 24 and 6th in the Riding Test 11.
Judy and Samba were forth in the Novice 28 - which was their first ever novice test.
Well done to all of them.

British Riding Clubs Summer SJ Qualifiers

Louise Michaelides, Jo Bryant, Juliette Hoskin and Helen Lentern came 1st in the intermediate (1m) class and have qualified for the championships in Lincoln in September.

British Riding Clubs Horse Trials Qualifier

Michelle Sanders, Karen Franklin, Jo Bryant and Helen Lentern came 1st in the 90cm class and have qualified for the 2 day event championships at Aston-Le-Walls in August. Karen is missing from the piccy as she had gone to support her daughter on the open xc.

British Riding Clubs Indoor SJ Qualifiers

A fun (but chilly) day was had by all at Duchy College with several of our new members making their debut appearence! Rhian did a sterling job of checking the passports and our thanks goes to her.
Camel Valley Team Black came a very commendable 9th overall and received some very snazzy purple rosettes. Jo Bryant received an individual 8th and Helen Lentern 9th (gaining another purple rosette)
