The Camel Valley Riding Club held its annual camp the weekend of May 15-16 2021 at Chyverton Equestrian Centre in mid Cornwall, booked to capacity of 24. Although everyone had their fingers crossed for sun, the British weather was looking temperamental. This was unlucky given that Covid social distancing measures were still in place.

On Thursday, March 18, the Camel Valley Riding Club held its first Annual General Meeting on Zoom. There were 16 members present, including the club's officers. The usual AGM format was followed, with re-election of officers etc. For those who couldn't attend, we thought we would share chairman Janet Elston's AGM report:

On Monday, February 8, the Camel Valley Riding Club held a meeting on Zoom. Although the committee have had a few online meetings, this was the first time a CVRC public meeting had been held in this manner: another first for the Coronavirus era. It worked pretty well, except we missed those who were not comfortable with the technology, and obviously there weren’t wine and nibbles, and it’s harder to chat in a Zoom group than it is at the Snail’s Pace Cafe! Ah well, you can’t have everything.
